We enter the 2nd trimester this week. Alhamdulillah, i feel better! Yippeee...
I'm still on the routine small meals and still try hard to avoid rice. I dont know why; they just dont appeal to me just yet. Hopefully soon! Nanti susah plak baby tak makan nasik :p
Lat Tuesday we saw our lil baby again on the scan machine. Baby look so cute and happy and active just jumping about in my tummy. There was once the baby even stared at us for a few minutes, heheh waht a wonderful experience :)
Work also has been great actually. Not too stressful , and not boring at all at the moment. I sometimes feel lazy and groggy in the mornings to get up for work; but after finishing my cases and organising tasks for the day; i realise that work makes me stronger and happier. I meet people; i have wonderful colleagues, i multitask and i am my own person when i do my legal work. I dont think i will opt for the SAHM soon (hehe hopefully) because i see a lot coming my way if i just keep my spirits high and work hard.
The Reader's Digest this month covers a very interesting topic on raising kids. There were notes from famous people including the Obamas. I feel truly inspired and i think it is never too early to start reading up on parenting. I think that the qualities a child will have must be instilled in him from day 1.
I really cant wait to start raising my children. Looking at the pictures in the magazine and reading about them gets me all excited in this new colourful journey that i will soon take.

19.6.2009
Snowy's passing has hit me very hard, though i try not to show it much. I did silly things after that like, drank cola, and bought a new car!
Anyway, Alhamdulillah we are nearing the end of the 1st trimester as we enter our 12th week this weekend. My lil sunshine must be one rock star trying to put up with my mood swings and appetite confusions.
It's a joy to start thinking about stuff that we need for the baby. First and foremost i must turn the ironing/guest room at home into a complete baby room. How big a cabinet do we need? Does it need an aircon? Must i make the curtains now? Decisions decisions. Since we wil yet to know the gender of the baby till a few months, ive decided to keep my ideas based on neutral colors. Cant help leaning on some rosy posey stuff but i also find myself confused on whether i prefer a colorful kiddy room, or light pastel baby colors.
The room will spell BABY in total, no sharing with guests or whatsoever. It will be exclusively for the baby hence i am entitled to the freedom to decorate as much as i want.
I also worry because i am not much of a surveyor, if i like something i will just get it and not think about it anymore, like what i did to my wedding! AHAh
Hmm my lil sunshine, do you prefer bright cheerful colors or pastel sweetness?? Some beatrix potter?

2nd annivesarry!!

Happy 2nd annivesarry to US! Alhamdulillah our marriage is now 2 years old :) How time flies kan? Feels just like yesterday that i was purchasing Anne Klein heels for my wedding; or cutting the wrong tier of the cake on our wedding day!
I got F a bouquet of red roses and a cute lil card for this special day. He was of course very surprised as i managed to hide it till the next morning.
This time around, the celebration is a bit low key due to my constant nausea and nak EL nak tido nak makan but no appetite syndrome. Seriously i pity those who have to put up with me. Especially my loving husband who constantly had to endure my happy and unhappy moodswings!
I thank my husband for being such a wonderful person to me, loving and caring (and menahan segala kerenah hehe)..and thank you for this little bumblebee inside of me, even now, he/she is already the centre of our universe!
May we have many more great years ahead!

End week
Dear Baby,
It’s 34degrees outside; all hazy and dirty, lucky you all tucked in this little cocoon. Hehe. Some say the haze and heat comes from Sumatra, others say it’s our own fault exhaling too much pollution into Malaysian air. You will soon know the world is a place where people love to point fingers and don’t want to take the blame for their own wrongdoings. Beware those finger pointers!
So after i found out about this pregnancy; i had to do some research and readings of course. A good friend of mine was kind enough to lend me some special books; and they are so lovely. One book i'd recommend readers is: The Secret Life of the Unborn Child by Thomas Verny and John Kelly. It's not the mainstream ordinary pregnancy books with pictures. It simply talks about the fetus having a life of its own in utero; and how amazing happenings in a pregnant mother's life/father actually affects the life of the baby. Such a miracle kind of book, you all must read it!
Other than that life has been mainly a 8-5 thing. Chino has been the highlights of 11 TZ just jumping about and wrecking everybody's life. I have been a fussypot when it comes to food; so my mother is my full time chef for now. And my husband has become someone who i see everyday that has a task of collecting my clean clothes fron MD and sending them to 11 TZ for work the next day. And also my 24hr driver and constant shoulder to cry on. He's advocated me to vomit when necessary, but forgets that it is easier said than done.
Other than that; have a good weekend folks! Longing for a weekend with better appetite :)

We are expecting!
On a still Tuesday night; as the wind lightly blow outside the window, i did a HPT and the stick turned positive. What a surprised soul i was; and until today, after the doctor showed you to me on the scan paper; i am still midway in a state of surprise. Coincidentally it was just after mother's day.
Alhamdulillah today we are able to view you with our eyes; keep you in our minds and hope to feel you soon in our very own arms.
All the feelings of being under prepared to become a parent, paranoid and nervous wreckedness seem to fade away after i learn each day that you are one healthy and normal lil glow worm (as you are now only 2.4cm :)
My readings about you, the feeling of you gestating inside of me, have turned me into a different person altogether.
As i clutch my heart in my hands every nite; i pray that you are ok; cos when i hope and pray that you will be ok; i know that you will be -ok. You may be small at just 10 weeks; but still you are the biggest presence in our lives. Your EDD is 10.1.2010; you'd probably be those smart Januarians, getting a head start in life! Hehe.
Mommy can't wait to see you!
